Myanmar Earthquake Emergency Response
On March 28, 2025, a powerful earthquake struck Myanmar, leaving families homeless, schools destroyed, and communities without food or clean water. Thousands are struggling to survive in the aftermath.

Our Response
With the support of Rotary Clubs in Thailand and our global Disaster Aid International partners, we brought urgent relief across the Thai-Myanmar border and into the hardest-hit areas.
- 38 tons of Rice Against Hunger (RAH) – life-sustaining food packs for families.
- 5 Clean Water Systems Installed – SkyHydrant and Aquabox units restoring safe drinking water within days.
- School Rebuilding – a new classroom at Yadanar Myint Zu Free Monastic School (Sagaing Hill) to replace one destroyed by the quake.
- Future Recovery – preparing to install a SkyHydrant GEM (500 L/hr) at Basic Education High School (Kyauk Mee) under the royal patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

Voices from the Field
“Our school collapsed, and we feared the children would have no place to learn again. Thanks to Disaster Aid Thailand, hope is returning to our community.” – Teacher, Sagaing Hill
