Panghad, Chiang Rai Flood Relief Appeal

Northern communities are underwater. Together, we can bring relief.

Torrential rains have caused devastating floods in Panghad, Chiang Rai Province, sweeping through villages and farmland. Families have lost homes, crops, and livestock — their main sources of income. Entire communities are cut off from clean water, food, and safe shelter.

The situation is urgent. Children, the elderly, and vulnerable families need our support now.

Our Response

Disaster Aid Thailand, with the help of local partners, is mobilizing to bring relief to the hardest-hit areas of Panghad:

  • Emergency Relief Supplies – rice, food packs, drinking water, blankets, and hygiene kits.
  • Safe Water Access – SkyHydrant filtration systems to provide thousands of liters of clean water daily.
  • Temporary Shelter Assistance – safe and dry accommodation for families forced from their homes.
  • Community Recovery Support – working hand in hand with villagers to restore basic needs and dignity.

Voices from Panghad

In Ban Panghad, families were forced to leave their homes overnight as floodwaters rose rapidly. Our first relief mission delivered 100 family kits within 48 hours, but the need is still overwhelming.

“We never expected the river to rise so fast. We lost our rice storage, and our children had nothing to eat. Disaster Aid Thailand gave us hope when we were desperate.” Villager, Panghad, Chiang Rai
